Several languages in one service
A single event can run several language channels at the same time, and each attendee chooses the language they listen in.
Accessible to deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees
Spiiksi can turn speech into live text, so deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees can follow the service on their own phone.
No fixed cost
No monthly fee and no setup fee. You pay only for the minutes you actually use during services.
Getting it running
Setup needs no technical support and nothing to install.
- 1Create an event and pick the languages the speech is interpreted into.
- 2Print or display the QR code — in the order of service, on a screen or by the door.
- 3Open the event on the Spiiksi website, pick a microphone and start the broadcast.
- 4Attendees scan the code and listen on their own headphones.
Common questions
- Do listeners need an app or a receiver to hear the interpretation into Arabic?
- No. Listeners scan the QR code or open the link, choose the language and listen in the browser on their own phone.
- Which language does the speaker need to use?
- Their own. Spiiksi recognises more than 70 spoken languages and interprets into Arabic in real time, so the speaker talks as usual.
- Can we offer interpretation into Arabic alongside other languages?
- Yes. One event can have several language channels running at the same time, and each listener picks their own.
- Can we try it before the event?
- Yes. Every account gets a free demo event with 20 minutes of AI interpretation. No card is needed.
- Does the church need interpretation equipment?
- No. Attendees listen in the browser on their own phone. No receivers, headset systems or interpreter booths are required. The talk is streamed to the Spiiksi website from a browser, so a browser and a microphone are enough — the venue's own sound system works.
- Can a service be captioned for hard-of-hearing attendees?
- Yes. Spiiksi can show the speech as live text on an attendee's phone, so deaf and hard-of-hearing people can follow the service without separate equipment.
- What does interpretation cost a church?
- There is no monthly fee. You pay only for the minutes you use, priced per minute per interpreted language channel. Prices exclude VAT: Finnish customers pay 25.5%, EU businesses with a VAT ID are reverse-charged, and customers outside the EU pay no Finnish VAT.
