Planning Center

Connect Planning Center Services once. Every upcoming plan of the service types you choose then gets a Live interpretation item, before the service starts:

• the listener link: people open it on their own phone, pick their language and listen with headphones;
• the QR code to print or show on screen, in the item's details and as a file link;
• a link to open the microphone in Spiiksi.

Each service type uses one Spiiksi event. Your listeners keep the same link and printed code every week, and the event keeps its languages, rooms and automatic start and stop. Plans made later get the item within half an hour.

Set up#

1. In Spiiksi, create the event your services use: Events → New Event, with the spoken language and the languages listeners can choose.
2. Open API & integrations → Connectors → Planning Center and press Connect Planning Center. Sign in to Planning Center and allow Spiiksi. Connect as someone who can edit plans in Services (Editor or above).
3. Back in Spiiksi, choose the event for each service type, for example Sunday Morning → Sunday service, and press Save. The upcoming plans get their item at once.

Only an owner or an admin of the Spiiksi organization can connect it.

Good to know#

• Spiiksi asks Planning Center only for Services, and changes nothing in your plans except its own item.
• The next eight plans of each chosen service type get the item. Sync now checks straight away; otherwise Spiiksi checks every half hour.
• Choose another event, and the items in upcoming plans point to it. Choose No interpretation, and Spiiksi takes its items out of that service type's upcoming plans. Past plans keep theirs.
• To leave one service without interpretation, delete the item from that plan: Spiiksi doesn't add it again. To leave out every service of a type, choose No interpretation for it.
• Disconnect removes Spiiksi's items from upcoming plans and lets go of Spiiksi's access. You can also revoke Spiiksi's access from Planning Center's own account settings.
• Interpretation is billed to your Spiiksi organization only while it runs, as for any event.
